HP patches hundreds of laptops to remove hidden keylogger

Security researcher Michael Myng found the keylogger when probing the Synaptics touchpad software program on an HP laptop computer. HP’s safety bulletin says the “potential security vulnerability” impacts all laptops with “certain versions of Synaptics touchpad drivers”—not essentially simply HP fashions.
